Steve Green President of Hobby Lobby - returns to Courageous Leadership with Virginia Prodan Podcast.

Steve Green became President of Hobby Lobby in 2004 and has helped his family grow the business to more than 900 stores in 47 states with over 43,000 employees. He is a national speaker on both business and philanthropy interests, always focusing on how his faith intersects with his life endeavors.

Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary recognized his impact in these overlapping life arenas with an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degree in 2013. In 2015, Mid-America Christian University presented him with an Honorary Doctorate of Biblical Literature.

Green is also chairman of the board for Museum of the Bible. In his role as chairman, Green has assembled a team of academics, designers, technology professionals and other experts to create the 430,000-square-foot Museum of the Bible, dedicated to a scholarly and engaging presentation of the Bible's impact, history, and narrative. The Museum opened November 2017 in Washington D.C., three blocks from the U.S. Capitol. Green has authored four books. His books can be found in Hobby Lobby stores across the nation, and online. Green and his wife, Jackie, have been married for more than 30 years and reside in Oklahoma City, where Hobby Lobby is headquartered. Their family includes a son, five daughters, a daughter-in-law, three sons-in-law and six grandchildren. They are actively involved in their local church, as well as with many national and international Christian ministries and charities.

Barry Morgenstein - returns to Courageous Leadership with Virginia Prodan Podcast.

Born in the 60’s and raised in Teaneck, New Jersey - Barry was quickly exposed to his first true loves; blues and rock-n-roll and photography. Driven toward his new passion, Barry enrolled at the International Center for Photography in New York City and learned the basics of what makes a “great shot”, which ultimately laid the foundation for his development of a deeper, more personal approach to photography. Barry’s career began when he landed a position as an assistant to the renowned music photographer Mark Weiss.

Barry has become one of the most sought-after photographers in the Entertainment Industry. Among the celebrities, he’s been privileged to photograph are Michael Jackson, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Meryl Streep and Paul McCartney. What’s more, he was the official photographer for Howard Stern’s book, Private Parts, with more than 100 inside photos of Stern. This later resulted in being featured on E! Entertainment Television, in a one hour documentary on the making of Stern’s movie, Private Parts.

To this day, much of Barry’s work for Record Labels, Modeling Agencies and Publishing Companies consistently appear in major print publications, such as Rolling Stone, New York Magazine, The New York Times, People, Entertainment Weekly, Billboard, Parade, and Soap Opera Digest.

Barry is consistently working to expand his horizons through building his portfolio and developing his brand while working to give back through various organizations he supports.

His life and message will encourage you in your journey as a courageous leader in his industry.

Dr. Michael L. Brown is our guest at Courageous Leadership with Virginia Prodan Podcast.

Dr. Brown is the founder and president of AskDrBrown Ministries and of FIRE School of Ministry, and host of the daily, nationally, syndicated talk radio show, The Line of Fire. He also hosts TV shows on METV (in Israel and the Middle East), and NRBTV. He became a believer in Jesus in 1971 as a sixteen year-old, heroin-shooting, LSD-using, Jewish, rock drummer. Since then, he has preached throughout America and around the world, bringing a message of repentance, revival, reformation, and cultural revolution. He holds a Ph.D. in Near Eastern Languages and Literatures from New York University and has served as a visiting or adjunct professor at Southern Evangelical Seminary, Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary (Charlotte), Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Fuller Theological Seminary, Denver Theological Seminary, the King’s Seminary, and Regent University School of Divinity, and he has contributed numerous articles to scholarly publications, including the Oxford Dictionary of Jewish Religion and the Theological Dictionary of the Old Testament. Dr. Brown is the author of more than 40 books; a national and international speaker. He and his wife Nancy, who is also a Jewish believer in Jesus, have been married since 1976. They have two daughters and four grandchildren.
