On this podcast - Erin Maxhari -our guest shares his story - from Muslim Background to Christian Ministry in Albania.
Erin is married to Aurora and they have two beautiful boys, Lior and Noah. He has a Master degree: Master of Science for Industrial Chemistry - and - is a full time missionary with Campus Crusade for Christ in Albania for over ten years.
He has been on few short missions trips in: Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Germany. Erin comes from muslim background and chose to believe in Jesus 15 years ago. As he understood that Jesus didn’t die only for christians, but also for as a muslim. His decision to believe in Jesus was not easy because he comes from a village with 100% muslims. ut after he accepted Christ his familly and friends accepted Chrsit too -as he share the gospel with them. Now Erin and Aurora are full time missionaries with Campus Crusade for Christ in Albania. His message will encourage you to share Christ with others.

Susan Michael - U.S. Director of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) -returns as our guest at Courageous Leadership with Virginia Prodan Podcast.
Susan - will talk about the Hamas horrifying attack on Israel; Israel at war; the current situation, and what the future might look like. And - what we and the world can do about it.
For more than 35 years, Susan has pioneered the development of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) in the United States and around the world. She currently serves as the ministry’s USA Director and is a member of the ICEJ’s international Board of Directors.
Susan’s involvement with the ICEJ began as a graduate student at Jerusalem University College in 1980, the same year that the Christian Embassy was first established. Upon completing her master’s degree in Judeo-Christian Studies, she returned from Israel with a heart to further the Embassy’s mission among fellow Americans. After a season assisting the ministry’s international leadership to host a series of high-profile pro-Israel conferences across the USA, she was asked to head up the ICEJ’s US Branch.
In addition to a master’s degree in Judeo-Christian Studies, she holds a bachelor’s degree in theology from Oral Roberts University and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Laws by Piedmont International University in 2018. Susan is an author, gifted teacher, and international speaker. She is often called upon to address complex and sensitive issues such as anti-Semitism, Islam, Jewish-Christian relations, and current events in the Middle East to a diverse range of audiences. Her experience working with Arabs, Jews, and Christians from many national and denominational backgrounds has equipped her to handle delicate topics central to an understanding of Israel with extraordinary clarity and grace.
In recent years she has produced a number of educational tools to enable other Christians to do the same. Susan has built the US Branch of the ICEJ into a scripturally sound and reputable ministry, evidenced in its leadership of one of the strongest networks of Evangelical leaders in America—the American Christian Leaders for Israel (ACLI).
Susan and her husband lived and worked for many years in Washington, DC, where she developed a close working relationship with the Israeli Embassy and strong connections with the US Jewish community at large. They currently reside in South Florida.

SCOTT EDELMAN- Foreign Service Officer (retired) U.S. Department of State - returns as our guest at Courageous Leadership with Virginia Prodan Podcast.
Mr. Edelman will talk about the Hamas horrifying attack on Israel; Israel at war; the current situation, and what the future might look like.
Mr. Edelman retired from the United States Foreign Service (diplomatic corps) within the U.S. Department of State in 2015 following 35 years of service largely focused on the Middle East and intelligence analysis. Mr. Edelman entered government service in 1980 as an intelligence analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency. In that capacity, he followed and analyzed political developments in East Africa (1980-83) and Eastern Europe (1986-89), receiving an Exceptional Performance Award upon his departure. He also worked on loan to the State Department as a political officer at the United States Embassy in Bucharest, Romania (1984-86).
After joining the Foreign Service in 1989, he served overseas as a consular and political officer in Poland (1990-92), commercial attaché in the Bahamas (1992-94), political officer in the United Arab Emirates (1997-2000), deputy consul at the U.S. consulate in Adana, Turkey (2001-02), U.S. consul in Izmir, Turkey (2002-04) and as the State Department advisor (POLAD) to the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet at its headquarters in Bahrain (2010-13).
He also served as the political officer at the U.S. liaison mission in Mogadishu, Somalia during Operation Restore Hope (1993) and as a civilian observer with the international peacekeeping force in the Sinai, Egypt (1994-95).
During the course of these assignments, he received two Superior Honor awards and a Meritorious Honor award. From 2004 to 2006, he was the analyst for Turkish affairs in the Department’s Intelligence and Research Bureau (INR), receiving INR’s Best New Analyst award in 2005.
From 2009-10, he returned to INR as its sole (later senior) analyst for Iraq, receiving special recognition for his contributions to the 2010 National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) on Iraq.
From 2006-08, he was an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO (serving as the State Department’s “diplomat in residence.”)
Born in New York in 1955, Mr. Edelman received his BA in Politics (with a focus on Near Eastern studies) at Brandeis University, a law degree from the University of Connecticut, and pursued graduate studies in Government (National Security Studies) at Georgetown University. He speaks, at varying degrees of fluency, Hebrew, Arabic, French, Romanian, Polish and Turkish. His hobbies and interests include travel, history and photography. He is married and has one son.

The terrorist organization Hamas designated Friday, Oct. 13, as a day of “general mobilization” to support “jihad-waging Gaza” in Israel and around the world. The Israeli government warned that this call would prompt attacks on Israelis and Jews, and violence indeed erupted Friday.
“The Hamas leadership has called on all of its supporters around the world to hold a ‘Day of Rage’ tomorrow (Friday, 13 October 2023) and attack Israelis and Jews,” the Israeli statement reads. “It is reasonable to assume that there will be protest events in various countries that are liable to turn violent.”
Following the horrific massacre of over 1,000 civilians in the Israeli communities bordering Gaza last weekend and the ensuing barrages of Hamas rockets, hundreds of Israeli families living in the western Negev have been evacuated to temporary housing in hostels and hotels across the country.
And not only the Jewish people but also our Christian values are under attack.
And we are calling to - A Day Of Prayer.
